Amber Mutalipassi, LCSW
I am humbled that you are here, and since you stopped by, here is a little about me.
I have ten years’ experience in the field of social work. I have been blessed to work within the community including areas of grassroots community programs, substance use disorder facilities and providing mental health services in primary care. I have been able to participate in training clinical interns and serve as a clinical supervisor. Mental health and watching people grow into who they want to become has become the core of my work passions.
My approach is person-centered, which means I believe you are the expert of you, and I engage you with strength-based work to help you to meet your therapy goals. While I am trained in many modalities, I believe that it is my job to form those tools around you—not the other way around. I am here to work with you to find the best outcome and get you back to living life in a way that is meaningful for you.
While I am open and willing to work within many areas of concern, I am specialized and certified as a grief counselor. Grief has a profound impact on us and doesn’t start or end with death loss. We experience anticipatory grief, disenfranchised grief, anxious grief, traumatic grief, transitional grief, on and on. If grief and loss is something you are wanting to explore, I am here to sit with you in those emotions and feelings.
